A little Christmas list for the local loving fashionista

It seems that I only pop on here when the festive season is upon us to share some of my favourite local things for the season. Yes I need to do better, we'll fix that in 2025. But! I could not let the season pass by without sharing some local goodies, and in this case,  brands and items that would be perfect for that fashionista in your life who may be interested in exploring the world that is T&T fashion. I myself am in the process of rediscovering my style so hubs, when you see this.. hint hint 🤣 These brands have piqued my interest over the past few months so I'm sharing them because I think you'll love them!!

3ripplesteppers

I've been watching them ever since they started retailing at The Fashion Arch Gallery. I love their eclectic use of leather.

Aaron Moneer Designs

If I remember correctly, I came across this brand at a pop up at No 6 Carlos and I immediately loved the silhouettes of their designs. Aaron went on to win Mission Catwalk and has since had his designs grace the runway of Paris Fashion Week. How cool is that?!

Afria Designs

Afria has been on my watch list for a while. They have some of the best choices in prints that I've seen in a while. And they also do men's wear. Who say his and her fits?!

Bandanya 868

Bandanya 868 just made their way back on the scene, and they have done so with a bang with these colourful wraps that can be used in a variety of ways. Wear it as a headwrap, wear it as a top. They even have pieces large enough to be worn as a wrap skirt.

The Brand Ade

Polymer Clay and tassle fringe are just two of the several mediums used by this brand to create their accessories. If you're not afraid of colour, then you'll definitely want to have a few of their pieces in your collection.

Drevait Official

When it comes to Drevait, the beauty lies within the simplicity and neatness of their bags. Every stitch is perfectly in place. The craftsmanship is impeccable. Each bag, from the smallest of wristlets, to the largest of tote bags, screams sophistication.

Island Time Style

I love how vibrant their pieces are. The colours, textures, choice of shapes. Something about them gives me a retro vibe and I'm here for it.

Matteo Store

When I tell you I have been watching this brand for yearsssssss. When I think of local footwear, they come to mind immediately. They have a signature style, yet in the midst of that they have many colour and style variations that it makes it very hard to choose just one pair.

Whether you're a budding fashionista, seasoned in the fashion game or you know someone who loves fashion, and you're thinking about diving into the local fashion scene, then this is an excellent starting point. Local is love, local is life! And local can be the perfect way to show someone that you love them this Christmas.

Happy Shopping!!
